For bookings created after May 23, 2025, and beginning more than 31 days later, you may instead choose to pay a deposit now, with the remainder due 30 days in advance. See below for more details.
Hotel Deposit Option
For hotel reservations scheduled more than 31 days in advance, you now have the flexibility to secure your stay by paying a deposit or completing full payment at checkout. This allows you to reserve your room early while managing your travel budget with ease.

- The final balance will be automatically charged 30 days before check-in. You can also choose to pay the balance earlier by logging into your Orlando Informer account.
- Your reservation is confirmed once the initial deposit (or full payment) is processed

Eligibility
This deposit option is available only for hotel reservations with check-in dates more than 31 days from the booking date.
Payment Options at Checkout
Guests may choose between:
- Paying in full at the time of booking.
- Paying a deposit, with the remaining balance automatically charged 30 days before check-in. The deposit amount will be clearly displayed during the checkout process.
Final Payment
- If you select the deposit option, the remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card provided at checkout about 30 days prior to your check-in date.
- By selecting the deposit option, you consent to Orlando Informer Travel, LLC, charging the card entered at booking for the remaining balance 30 days prior to your check-in date.
- If the automatic payment fails:
- We will email you a secure payment link to complete the final payment.
- If the balance is not paid promptly, your hotel reservation will be canceled and the deposit refunded.
- By selecting the deposit option, you agree that your reservation will be canceled and the deposit refunded if the final payment is not received by the due date.
- Please note: If your reservation is canceled, the same hotel, room type, or rate may no longer be available if you choose to rebook.
Tickets Purchased with Your Reservation
- If your order includes theme park tickets, the full amount for tickets is charged at the time of purchase.
- Even if your hotel reservation is canceled due to non-payment, your ticket order will remain valid and will not be refunded automatically.
Cancellation Policy
- Our standard hotel cancellation policies apply regardless of whether you pay in full or choose the deposit option. For most reservations:
- Hotel cancellations made by 6 pm ET six days or more before check-in: You will receive a full refund of any amount already paid.
- Hotel cancellations made within five days of check-in: A fee equal to one night’s room rate plus tax will be charged, and the remainder will be refunded.
- Hotel bookings over $5000 are subject to a slightly different cancellation policy. Please see details here.
Important Notes
- It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure the card used for payment remains valid and has sufficient funds.
- We are unable to guarantee the availability of the same room type or hotel if a canceled reservation needs to be rebooked.
