Please keep in mind that hotel rates are subject to change and may have increased or decreased from when you originally booked. Additionally, due to Universal Orlando restrictions, all modifications are processed by cancelling the previous booking and creating a new reservation. As a result, cancellation fees may apply to the original reservation if your check-in date is less than 6 days away.
The cancellation policy for most Universal Orlando hotel reservations booked through Orlando Informer is as follows:
- If you cancel your reservation before 6:00 pm ET at least 6 days prior to your stay, you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel your reservation 0-5 days prior to your stay, you will be charged a cancellation fee of one night's room rate (plus tax), and you will receive a refund for the remainder of your stay.
For hotel bookings over $5000, the cancellation policy is:
- You will receive a 95% refund if you cancel by 6:00 pm ET at least 6 days before arrival.
- If you cancel your reservation 0-5 days before your stay, you will be charged a cancellation fee of one night's room rate (plus tax). You will receive a refund for the remainder of your stay.
